Tender point of moment's ebb (2021)

Copper wire weaving, soap resin, sea salt

Dimensions approx: 50cm x 20cm and 20cm x 20 cm

Over time the salt reacts with the soap to go brittle and crack. At the same time the salt accelerates the oxidation process of the copper. Finally the soap resin will be replaced by the trace of oxidation.

While the work was exhibited (December) the resin also reacted to the humid atmosphere to grow droplets and then take on a white crust.
